Cohaa brings together tradition and contemporary design. The name reflects our philosophy — Co for contemporary and Ha for handlooms — a meeting point of heritage and modern aesthetics.

Founded in October 2023 by Namita, Cohaa is an India-based design label focused on creating distinctive, accessible handloom pieces. Our journey began in Secunderabad with a small store called Veni, a modest space within a patisserie that gradually became a place for discovering thoughtfully curated handlooms from across India.

Travelling through weaving clusters across the country shaped the vision of Cohaa. The timeless weaving heritage of Maheshwar, on the banks of the Narmada River, became the starting point of our design journey and continues to inspire many of our collections.
